Hi ck-12!!! congratulations!! Im one year older then you!! But....... you guys helped me get a A in science class and my teacher was very impress with my work I have. I just started when I first became a 6th grader, and I was pretty mad I had too start a new website. I always had gotten a D in science and I love science, so it hurt me to see I was failing. But I came home that day and my mom told me to do it any way, so I signed up and then BOOM!!! I fell in love with this website!! My teacher always told me that I needed some help with science, so I wold get on ck-12 and asked a helper for some help. My teacher always told me I could study more of a topic to get caught up with the other students, so I would hop on ck-12 and read,study,watch,and write down the topic. Since I started ck-12 I have an A in science,I have honor roll, and help other kids with science too!! So now that I am almost finished, congrats on having your 10th birthday!! I have no textbooks to use in my classroom not even old ones to use as reference material for the students. Part of the educational standards is for students to be able to read content at grade level. How do you do this without books? CK12.org has been the provider of books and practice material. I am using it in all of my science classes except for AP Physics as those students are required to purchase a college textbook. Thank you CK12! Without your support and online material my job would be extremely difficult. Congratulations on 10 years of educational support.

I can barely remember how I used to teach with an old dusty textbook. I have kept those around, but now I use them in a special activity: I have students rip out pages to underscore the fact that science is constantly changing. Traditional text, especially in science, are obsolete before they even ship. Needless to say, they are also very expensive. I have also turned several colleagues onto CK12 and now your awesome products are used in several grades here.
